The Media Response Project seeks to build a societal norm and ethic against politically motivated violence and extremism. By working together with the international, national, and local media, ICPVTR staff has formally as well as informally educated media personnel on terrorist groups and their support bases. As a key part of this project ICPVTR monitors the use of internet by jihadists to communicate amongst themselves, to spread their ideology as well as to recruit and train members.
