The Media Response Project seeks to build a societal norm and an ethic against politically motivated violence and extremism. By working together with the international, regional, national, and local media, ICPVTR staff has formally and informally educated media personnel on terrorist groups and their support bases. As key part of this project ICPVTR monitors how jihadists have created their own media through the use of the Internet to communicate, spread their ideology, recruit and train their members.
