The Legislative Response Project seeks to seed and drive counter-terrorism legislation by identifying global best practices. Terrorist organizations cannot be effectively fought without specific counter terrorism legislation. As most countries lack appropriate counter-terrorism legislation, ICPVTR has developed a comprehensive database of CT legislation worldwide. The Centre has collected and analyzed CT legislation, and has also assisted to disseminate its findings to governments and legislators through training and other means. The Centre is also assisting the ASEAN Secretariat in developing a regional convention in counter-terrorism.
