ICPVTR’s strategic projects deal with long-term, non-kinetic responses to political violence, extremism and terrorism. These strategies seek to drain the swamp that breeds terrorists, and at the same time attempt to win the hearts and the minds of the community. ICPVTR’s projects focus on terrorist ideology, motivation and recruitment patterns, and the underlying conditions as well as support structures that enable the terrorist groups to mobilize and strike. Using this strategic information, it will be possible to mitigate the grievances. It will also enable the creation of an environment that is hostile to the operation of terrorist groups and attacks by them, and unfriendly to terrorist supporters and sympathizers.
ICPVTR strategic counter terrorism projects include:
  1. Ideological Response
  2. Legislative Response
  3. Educational Response
  4. Financial Response
  5. Media Response
  6. Terrorism Informatics
